FUJITSU PLASMAVISION SLIMSCREEN® MONITORS STAR IN “JAMES BOND-ISH” HOME THEATER INSTALLATION AT POSH FOUR SEASONS CONDO RESIDENCE

FAIRFIELD, NJ—Home Entertainment Design (HED), a high-end custom installation specialist located in Long Island City, New York, has just completed the installation of an ultra-posh multi-screen home theater system featuring three Fujitsu Plasmavision SlimScreen® monitors at the Four Seasons condominium residences in San Francisco. The home theater installation, featuring a futuristic design worthy of a James Bond film, incorporates two Fujitsu P50XHA10 50-inch high-definition widescreen (16:9) monitors (one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom), as well as a 61-inch PDS-6101 Plasmavision set in the living room.

According to HED North President, Alan Drespel, the three-screen integrated audio/video system was designed using the latest in home theater “stealth” technology. The two 50-inch monitors, for example, are virtually invisible, suspended on the kitchen and bedroom ceilings until the owner hits a button and specially designed mechanical arms lower them to viewing position. The 61-inch set in the living room is recessed into a shadow box on the wall so that it is completely flush with the wall surface. Additionally, all audio/video components for the entire system, including DVD player, satellite receiver, disc management system and other components, are concentrated in a single cabinet in a separate office room.

For total convenience, the owner can easily access his 400-DVD changer and CD library from the remote controls in any of the rooms, viewing the entire selection of available titles on any Fujitsu screen. In addition, the kitchen features a wall plate for hookup of a personal computer, allowing the owner to utilize the screen as a computer monitor if desired.

“I chose Fujitsu plasma sets for the job simply because I believe they are the best plasma monitors on the market, offering not only the finest high-quality images, but also the ultimate in reliability as well,” said Mr. Drespel. “My customer wanted the finest product available in advanced high-definition TV, and Fujitsu was the way to go.”

Fujitsu’s Tedd Rozylowicz, Senior Vice President pointed out: “This ultra-sophisticated installation by HED is a great example of what can be accomplished when creative installation techniques are combined with our Plasmavision SlimScreen monitors. Many of the country’s top custom installation specialists like Alan Drespel rely on Fujitsu plasma monitors for their unsurpassed mounting flexibility, as well as their unmatched high-quality digital images.”

Fujitsu’s 61-inch PDS-6101 is available at a suggested retail price of $24,999. The 50-inch P50XHA10 is available at $10,999 suggested retail.
